Back to School Portrait Mini Session | San Antonio

The first day of school marks more than the beginning of another school year. It captures a moment in your child’s story that will never come again. From the excitement of elementary school to the milestones of middle school, high school, and that unforgettable senior year, our Back to School Portrait Sessions are designed to preserve who they are right now.

These Back to School Mini Sessions offer a beautiful alternative to traditional school pictures, with relaxed posing, individual portraits, sibling photographs, and plenty of personality. Bring the pieces that tell your child’s story: school uniforms, letter jackets, sports equipment, musical instruments, favorite books, college gear, or another meaningful item. Seniors are especially encouraged to bring their letter jacket or something representing the activities and accomplishments that have shaped their high school years.

Families with multiple children are welcome! We can photograph each child individually as well as siblings together, creating a collection that documents this particular chapter of your family’s school years.

SESSION DETAILS

The photography session is approximately 15 minutes and includes 20 professionally edited, high-resolution digital images with a print release. Your images will be delivered in a private, password-protected online gallery within five business days of your session.

Studio sessions take place at Love Preserved Photography in Bracken Village, San Antonio, Texas. An outdoor session may also be selected instead of the studio setting, if desired.

In the notes section of your order, please include the names and ages/grades of everyone who will be photographed. You are also welcome to tell me about any activities, sports, accomplishments, or special items you would like incorporated into the session.

Please arrive on time so that we can make the most of your scheduled portrait time. Once booked, sessions are nonrefundable. If an unforeseen circumstance such as illness requires you to reschedule, your session may be moved to another available date. Please note that the same seasonal setting cannot always be guaranteed for rescheduled sessions.
